A Brief Asus Zenfone 8 Review

The Asus Zenfone 8 is one among the first Smartphone from the new age smartphone generation. Capable of connecting to the Internet via the Wifi technology, it also offers various other smart phone features for a better communication experience. As far as the different Smart Phone Smart specs are concerned, the Zenfone has some interesting attributes that have differentiated it from the rest. Reviewed here are some of them.

The Zenfone has a neat looking design with a nice touch screen. Equipped with some impressive features and good standard specifications, the Asus Zenfone 8 Smartphone comes with a great price tag of Rs 44,191. The phone offers a comfortable slip free grip to the device and is reasonably light in weight. The 4,000mah battery helps you increase the efficiency of power supply. There is no need to be worried about the performance of this phone as it has been benchmarked to some great results.

The Zenfone has a neat design with a smooth back shell. It has a thin bezel along with a single horizontal bar across the top. The body of the phones is not too thick and hence does not have the impression of being bulky or heavy. There is no noticeable difference between the screen and the bezel on the Zenfone. There is a single speaker positioned behind the touch-sensitive home key. This is good news for anyone who does not wish to have constant reminders of turning the volume down.

Apart from the large bezel and huge screen, there is another interesting feature of the Asus Zenfone 8 phone. The Zenfone has a very interesting night mode. The night mode is enabled by long press on the home key. There is a slider which enables different settings like brightness, contrast, exposure and other modes. You can set the Zenfone to night mode automatically at night while you are resting or sleeping.

The battery life of the Zenfone 8 phone is substantially longer than the one of the Sateen and Oppos models. It gives about twenty-five hours of battery life when in its normal mode. You can increase the battery life to around forty hours when you use the powertrain optimizer feature. This feature is also present on the higher end phones like the iPhone, HTC Desire and LG Optimus. One big plus point of the smaller sized battery is that you can use it slightly smaller.

Asus Zenfone 8 is lighter and thicker than the Sateen. Its weight is just three grams lighter than the flagship phone which is HTC Desire. This extra weight gives it a more comfortable feel and allows it to conform to the body shape of the users. The thickness however may prove to be an Achilles heel as it makes it a little difficult for the users to grip the phone properly.

Apart from the bigger size, there are some great positives of the Asus Zenfone 8 phone. The biggest plus point is that it runs smoothly and quickly on the android platform. Even on its most basic settings, this smartphone feels fast. Users also complained about the lack of software support for some of their favorite android apps like Google Maps. But this can be easily sorted out since the company has already launched an official android app in the market.

When it comes to camera performance, the zfenui has a slightly better lens compared to the competition. The lens of the Asus Zenfone 8 phone also has a larger pixels and offers more image pixels with each shot. This improves the clarity and image resolution of the images taken on the Asus Zenfone 8 phone and also promises much higher battery life.
