Flexi Poles, the Tallest Standing Desk Around
The Flexispot E7B tall is a decent height adjustable desk and relatively affordable for such a big usable space (one hundred and eighty x eighty cm). There are only a couple of minor flaws, like a lack of pull out drawers, a standard cable management, and sometimes instructions that can be much better. The main complaint about the desk is it’s not a good-looking desk, and it doesn’t have the wow factor of some other more expensive desks. I guess that if you want a desk that looks good then you might look elsewhere. The cons far outweigh the pros in my opinion.
Flexispot’s tall E7B height adjustable standing desk comes with a deskbase and worktop made from welded chrome steel. They have added an “e” shaped headrest for extra comfort, along with five (5) different work surfaces on the top of the desk. This is great if you’re looking for a lot of workspace, but it does leave the surface area open to be filled with other things. You can get away with only having one work surface and still have plenty of room on the top if you like.
The controls of the Flexispot E7B height adjustable standing desk are quite nice and well done. The desk top has an easy to use rotary control dial, with five independently adjustable positions along the length of the worktop. On the lower side of this dial you’ll find three individually adjustable work surfaces, which are useful if you like to do a variety of different jobs and don’t want to change your working surface often. This gives you plenty of options when you need more space or a new set of surfaces to work on.
The desk has a height adjustable stand as well, that can be adjusted in three different positions. This gives you a great deal of versatility and makes the Flexispot E7B height adjustable standing desk great for use at home, in the office, or at a college dorm. If you have room for it, you could even convert it into a laptop computer stand!
One thing that stands out about the Flexispot E7B height adjustable standing desk is the quality of its construction. While the desk looks great, it certainly does have superb cable management. There are no loose or sagging wires anywhere on the desk, which means that you’ll have less frustration trying to track down the cable behind the wall when you need it. The cable management on other modern desks just isn’t up to par, which means that they tend to gather up and become useless quite quickly. Not so with this desk.
What’s more, the cable management on the Flexispot E7B also allows you to keep your monitor in place, which is great for those of us who like to tinker with our equipment, but who want to keep the mess out of sight. If you’ve ever been in a real messy workroom, you know how frustrating it can be to divert your attention from your work to look for the monitor when all you really want to do is work. With the Flexispot E7B, you can look up at the monitor without looking around to see if there’s a cable in your way. The cable management also keeps the cables from being all over the place, which is nice if you like to have your equipment easily accessible. This is definitely an attractive feature for anyone who works at home or at a business where access to cables is needed frequently.
Speaking of cable management, Flexispot has put some thought into the design of their stands. Rather than having large, unwieldy looking stands, the Flexispot E7B has a sleeker, thinner design that fits better in smaller spaces. It doesn’t have as many extra features as other Flexispot standing desks, but it does pack a powerful punch. For example, it’s got an image control panel that’s built into the worktop, which is great for keeping the electronics hidden. And because it’s an adjustable height desk, you can set it up higher if you need to.
So, overall, it’s not just a good-looking desk. It’s also got the right cable management and cooling fans to keep your computer running smoothly and to keep the heat away from your feet. If you’re looking for a height adjustable standing desk that packs a punch, then you’ll definitely want to consider the Flexispot E7B.
