What You Need To Know About Samsung M7 Smart Monitor Features
The Samsung M7 Smart Monitor is a new member of the Galaxy S family. The new model in this series allows users to do much more with their mobile devices than ever before thanks to a wide range of new features. The best part is, the price of the mobile computer isn’t so much higher than its predecessors. So what are these new features that make the new model such a success? We’ll take a look at some of these here.
Display: The Samsung M7 comes with two different panels which provide the image on the front and rear of the monitor. The one on the top is a 15-inch widescreen mode, while the other has a slightly larger bezel around it which covers the entire sides of the smart screens. Both have a resolution of 13 megapixels. It might not sound all that impressive, but when you consider the fact that Samsung has previously released models which have sharp displays that rival those of top branded competitors, you’ll understand why the difference is so large. The clarity of the images and the quality of viewing are fantastic.
Response Time: This is yet another feature that tends to come up short when comparing prices with others. Samsung has cleverly placed the response time sensor very close to the touch sensitive screen allowing the moment when the user presses the screen, the processor switches over immediately to prevent the delay in processing from being noticeable. A little software trickery here, but the end result is an experience which are lightning fast and almost indescribable once you have used it. The time taken to get the point across to you is just as quick.
Colour: Samsung has included a colour adjustment feature in the package which enables you to change the monitor’s perceived colour temperature according to your preference. If you find that the colours are too bright or too dark then you can make adjustments until they suit you. The result is an excellent sense of balance, which is rare in modern televisions.
Battery Power: A lot of battery life for such a small machine is a good thing. In fact the life of the battery is particularly good when using the bundled infrared remote. As it turns out the built in Infrared Blocking technology means that the smart TV does not have to stay on constantly to allow you to use the remote. Instead, when it is in operation the built in blocked lights work to automatically turn on and off every time you switch on the machine.
Ease of Use: This is a fairly obvious feature and something that will be found on many modern TVs. But the Samsung M7 smart TV does have a particularly nice touch sensitive pad which is also incorporated into the LCD panel. What this means is that you will not have to worry about reaching up and touching the remote every time you need to move the screen around. There’s no need to get up from the seat and then trying to coax the little screen out of its hole. It’s just right there and easy to use. And of course this is another feature which will cost a little extra but which is definitely worth the extra.
Other than these three main features, Samsung has integrated a few others into this very nicely priced smart monitor. It has integrated the latest Quick Panel technology which means that you will have instant access to your programme guides. It also has built in Internet features including a movie server and your personal MP3 library so that you can enjoy your favourite music videos with all your family and friends. The S-Voice operating system also makes sending email a breeze and has the added benefit of being able to send your personal calendar, contact’s list and email to your other Samsung devices. The phone functions are also pretty comprehensive and include things like accessing your telephone directory and setting Alarm.
Although the list of Samsung’s included features are pretty standard, there are a few special features that this monitor is unique in. It comes with Samsung’s handy Instant Answers and is especially useful as a gaming console. However, it does have a few drawbacks such as the lack of a headphone jack. Other than that, this is a great product that provides good value for money and does everything that you might expect from a new monitor.
