A Look At TunnelBear VPN Features

TunnelBear is among the very few paid providers I have reviewed which provides a free VPN service. But the free TunnelBear program limits you to just 500 MB of bandwidth per month. To increase your limit to a maximum of 1 GB for a single month, you can actually make more data by tweeting about the company. It’s unclear whether or not this counts towards your Tweet’s influence on Twitter and therefore your eligibility for increased bandwidth; I have therefore left this question unanswered in this review.

TunnelBear provides its TunnelBear VPN service from three main locations: US, Canada and Europe. You can access these locations from any location and use their services almost instantly without having to use any third party software or plug-ins. Each of these servers is located on independent continents and are powered by their own individual broadband connections. The US site is powered by Level3 and the others by AT&T. The Canadian servers are located in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa; while the European servers are based in Frankfurt and London.

TunnelBear also features what it calls its “hot spot” feature. This basically means that each connection has a unique IP address and therefore is assigned a unique speed. By default, all connections have the same speed and are open to all clients. But when a new connection needs to be made, it will assign an IP to the connection. The user then uses this IP to access the web VPN service that is provided by TunnelBear. When you are using the internet with this service, you are instead using an “open hotspot shield” that is provided by the company.

To keep your data secure while using TunnelBear, it is advised that you use a virtual private network, or VPN, instead of sharing one primary IP address. This is because virtual private servers are virtually separated into two servers. One is located at the TunnelBear location and the other at another location completely separate from the original site. This way, if someone at the original site were to tamper with your information, it would not reflect on the virtual server locations. Although the virtual servers are not exactly like physical servers, they are more sensitive and require much more protection than a normal server would.

TunnelBear’s biggest advantage over other VPN service providers is that it offers two types of security, namely its hotspot shield and express vpn. With its hotspot shield, all of your information goes through a series of proxy servers before getting to the public Internet, thereby ensuring that your information does not get picked up by malicious hackers. This is a very effective method of securing your data and ensures that your data is much more secure than data that travels through the public internet. Express vpn, however, uses an individual private connection that can only be accessed by the individual user. This ensures that only you and authorized people have access to the secure portion of tunnelbear’s server locations.

Because of these two unique features, tunneler is considered much more secure than other similar services. Another unique feature that expression offers is the fact that it offers two main types of servers. There is a router-based tunnelbear service (which is probably the most popular) and then there is the normal web-hosted tunnelbear servers. The router-based service offers several advantages, including better speeds, larger bandwidth and better uptime. However, while this type of service is reliable and fast, it also comes at a high price as well, and users may end up paying quite a lot for the convenience.

On the other hand, when you sign up with TunnelBear, you get to enjoy several other benefits. Not only do you get to secure your data, you also get to enjoy many other great features. Many of the different features that TunnelBear offers also offer different pricing plans so you can choose exactly what you need. Also, because tunnelbear is based in the US, you will be able to access the internet without having to worry about picking up a virtual address and trying to use your credit card somewhere else.

TunnelBear is a great company to work with if you are interested in getting top quality VPN service at an affordable price. They offer many different options, as well as affordable pricing, and they are easy to work with. If you have never used a VPN before, you might want to take a look at expression, but you should know that TunnelBear VPN offers much more than just an internet service.
